The National Seed Production and Agricultural Services Company (a limited liability company) was established in 1407 AH by a group of major agricultural companies in the Kingdom, such as the National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC), the National Agricultural Company, the Hail Agricultural Development Company (HADCO), the Tabuk Agricultural Development Company (TADCO), and the Qassim Company. Agriculture, as well as by a group of prominent businessmen in the Kingdom, such as His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, Sheikh Saleh Al-Rajhi, and Sheikh Saleh Mutlaq Al-Hanaki.

The main goal of establishing this company was to produce the Kingdom’s entire needs for wheat and barley seeds instead of importing them from abroad. Indeed, the company has played its role in this until today.

In 2008 AD, the company acquired its agricultural project in the Al-Jawf region, through which it began to expand in the agricultural field by diversifying its sources of income through growing all kinds of vegetables, as well as olive cultivation, while continuing to provide farmers’ needs for wheat seeds.
